Benscoter Family: March 2011

What a busy month we have had! Sophia has been growing so fast and has spent a lot of time discovering the world around her. On March 7th Sophia discovered her hands! She enjoys clasping them together and just staring at them. Another exciting event occurred on March 9th...Sophia went on her first plane ride! We flew from Lubbock, Texas to Boston, Massachusetts to see Grandma & Grandpa Lagasse and to meet lots of other family members that love her very much already. On March 13th Sophia was baptized with her adorable cousin, Ava. We are so thankful that Evan and Erin are such wonderful Godparents to Sophia and we are so glad to be Ava's Godparents! March 16th was also a fun-filled busy day for our little one. Not only did we fly back home but Joe was able to make Sophia laugh for the first time. What a fun moment that was for us! We can't wait to hear her giggle some more as the years go on. Believe it or not, that is not all that happened on the 16th. Sophia also found her feet! She grabbed onto her little piggy toes while sitting bare-foot in her bumbo seat. She now loves to grab her feet while laying on her back as well. Maybe someday soon they will find their way into her mouth?!? On March 27th Sophia figured out a way to get out of tummy time by rolling from her tummy to her back. Unfortunately, Daddy came home from work only minutes after this momentous occasion occurred. Unfortunately for Mommy and Daddy, this exciting new trick has yet to be duplicated. March 29th brought one new trick for the month...Sophia has learned how to shake a rattle. Please enjoy the pictures and videos that we have gathered of our sweet little girl this month.
